St Patrick's Day

How did you spend your St Patrick's Day?
We opted out on going to the big parade in Dallas, and on a whim decided to go to a flea market instead. We did see a lot   of "Irish" fare on the folks walking around, so it was almost like a parade.

We also saw some pretty things that inspired us!
I thought I'd share a few of them with you, along with our stash.
We actually spent a  little bit of the Green today.

Springtime Inspiration
I fell in love with this whole display ...
love, love, love!

Then there's "Door Knob Bob" one of our favorite vendors.
In fact, "Door Knob Bob" had these old license plates that Buzz is going to use to decorate his "Man Shed"
(I encouraged him)
Buzz's other BIG purchase was a small
jar of local "Clover Honey" ... yum!
(notice, Buzz isn't wearing Green...  He got a pinch!)

My stash included
a dozen embroidery squares,
a couple of old letters
and six pewter style chargers.
(Buzz encouraged me)

I hope you've had a day filled with
Irish Blessings!
Now it's time to start planning for
Spring and another special day!
Some clever person was selling these today...
we were able to resist (for now anyway)
Blessings!

  5. I've been embroidering (trying to) some towels for our granddaughter's play kitchen, so now I know how much time goes into those pieces of art you just bought. Lots!! Great finds!
