Next year I'll plant a lot! (deo volente)
Yes, I love them in the Summer...

These colors are so festive for Fall...the photo in your header is fabulous!ReplyDelete
I like marigolds too because they bloom all summer and fall too! A very generous flower!ReplyDelete
Thank you for your comment Diane ... They certainly are a generous little flower. I'm hoping we don't get a freeze to soon because I'm going to miss all their beautiful color.Delete
The petals look like velvet! Even in our cold climate, I have had marigolds reseed. Love them!ReplyDelete
So pretty and great color! I am your newest follower.ReplyDelete

Nothing says fall like a marigold.ReplyDelete
They look beautiful, but (I admit) do not like their scent. However, I got a lovely marigold garland and now they are one of my favourites too. Nobody is perfect but can be loved nevertheless. Happy week! RegulaReplyDelete
If you like these because they last into the fall ...lantana is a nice variety as well. Not sure if you've tried them...I did a few years ago on my sisters' recommendation and now I get some every year along with my other annuals.
Most annuals lasted until the other night when we had a deep and heavy frost / now only a few have survived here ( western PA )
Thank you for your comment Debra ... yes, I do know about lantana. We purchased some kinda late in the summer, but they are glorious right now. I'm going to miss all this color after our frost...":o( Seems like it's coming early this year.Delete

We are a little nuts... we were singing a song to our grand daughter so of course we had to dress for the part. Ha! Thank you for commenting on it... ":o) Made me smile!Delete
