Peat Pot Autumn Favors ...

My Autumn decorating has been minimal this year,
but I did come up with one idea that I'd like to share with you.

I used left over Peat Pots from our Spring Garden

to make these
Autumn Favors

As you can see, I used a little bit of
book pages,
alpha stamps,
orange bias tape,
graphics from
"The Graphics Fairy"
and a couple of odd buttons
to create these simple favors that that can hold
candies... or even spooky stuff, like plastic spiders and bugs.

With a leftover graphic I made a little tag for this pumpkin.  So easy...I just glued it to a piece of thin cardboard and cut it out. I glammed it up a little with my signature tulle ribbon.  ta dah!
Don't you just love Autumn!
I sure do!

  1. Geneva...these are just SO cute! What a creative idea! I think I still have some of these pots. I love the tags, too! They look like fun to make. Fall really is a fun time. Hope you are having a great weekend!

I may have to alter some this weekend! Thanks for the inspiration!!

  4. I really like these, the simplicity is very effective. You can tuck these anywhere.

  5. My favorite is the crow with the button around his neck. Cute accessorizing. :@

  6. These are really cute for fall but you could decorate them for any season or occasion. Thanks for sharing your idea.

  9. Yes, I DO love autumn--and these cuties made from leftover peat pots are just darling! What a great way to use these--they look so cute with their embellishments, and they'd be just the right size to hold a little treat!

Thanks for joining Grace at Home!

  10. Geneva, YOur fall vignette is so creative and full of wonderful details! Using peat pots is brilliant!

  11. Love these little pots! And thank you for the nice comment on my blog!

  12. These are super-cute! I think your photography is great, every picture so clear. I haven't figured out how to get a good picture with no flash. The flash is too harsh, but without it my pictures are so dark. I do adjust the exposure, but that's all I know to do.

  13. Sooo adorable! Now I'm thinking I might have to do some for thanksgiving?? Be cute as favors on the table. Thanks for the inspiration. Mimi

  14. I like your little glammed up pumpkin! Too cute with the tulle!
