A Little Bit Rustic

Normally, Buzz and I don't decorate with these Rustic pieces of crockery ... not inside anyway. They're happy to live on our porches most of the year; however each and every Autumn they make their way inside because they know how warm and cozy they make us feel.

We Call This
"Rustic Wonderfulness"

These warm rustic pieces along with the artisan bread I just baked
are making our day just about as perfect as it can get.

  2. Geneva,
I adore the Rustic look using your crocks!!! The pops of orange in the pumpkins and the bittersweet make it so warm and comforting...just like home! Thanks you for sharing.

  13. Your home is wonderful. I'm facing a similar decision for retirement. I've lived in mobile homes for brief periods in the past and know that many are sturdy and roomy. But not exactly what I've imagined. You have totally inspired me ! And, seeing your home and evaluating what I can and can't do myself, and what I will have to "hire" done helps me feel confident that this is doable. I applaud you making a wise decision about your finances in retirement. No sense of giving anything up - your home is personal and well loved and BEAUTIFUL. Congratulations. You guys are just the inspiration I've needed. Bless you.
