Wassail - A Christmas Memory
The older I get, the more precious memories become. Is it that way for you?
Today, I was going through my mother's recipe box and ran across one that she'd saved. Her cousin, George Wesley Turner - also known as Wes had given it to her in 1969. Truly, there are so many more recipes (memories) to share, but I thought this one was especially appropriate for this time of year.
I'm going to try it ... maybe you'd like to try it too.

I usually make Wassail every year...non alcoholic, too. Thanks for your recipe. I, too, get nostalgic at this time of year. Life goes way too fast. xo Diana
