Inspiration from "All by Myself Time"

I would like to say that I start every day with a BIG glass of water ...
but then, I'd be fibbin.  I have a pretty serious problem getting enough water in my system.

During my "all by myself" time this morning,
it occurred to me that I might drink more water if it looked pretty and tasted pretty.

Don't they look wonderful!

I just finished my fifth glass of water flavored with lemon & fresh mint.
Looks Pretty ... Tastes Pretty!

My
"all by myself time"

That's when I get most of my inspiration.

It's when I invite God's cooperation into my day.

When I hear ...
"Listen to what I have to say,
 don't disconnect ... pay attention"

Let's do this!

He's the one who helps me
live my life to the fullest...
right down to the water I drink.

Truly Inspirational!

  1. Six months ago my husband and myself bought a mobile home. It was in sad shape. It took us six months to gut it and remodel. Were finally done! I love it. All of our inspiration came from My Hearts Song! So Thank you Geneva! We are 62 and 63 and looking forward to retirement!

  5. we're moving into a manufactured home...renting it. it's a 70's issue and not very...um, charming. like with doors that end 3" above the floor and drawers that when pulled on slide all the way down...those are just a few of the things. the walls are simply the very thin 1/4-inch bead board stuff that is mostly plastic. we want to hang art on the wall and we need to attach bookshelves to something...how do you do that when there is nothing behind that fake bead board to even drive a nail into? thank you for replying...jenni farnes .... angelheartcottage@comcast.net

    1. Hi Jenni ... wish I could help you out. We're pretty careful about what we hang on our walls too. We do have 2x3 bracing but that's pretty small for heavy items. If you removed the bead board and replaced it with a thin sheetrock ... maybe you could add some bracing at that point. Wish I could give you better advise ... you might check with mobilehomeliving.org. She has great tips on there for MH owners.

  7. I also am happy to see you back. We purchased a new manufactured home 22 years ago, just a simple basic but sound home with the intention of building. The reason was to get out of a close subdivision and own some land. Due to the fact that my husband had already worked at 2 businesses that had closed and we still had children at we decided once the house sold this would be our option then build when we could. Needless to say that never happened, the children married and moved out and yes my husbands job closed again, however we were in a much better place this time. Have stayed put in our home remodeling when and where we want to make it our "dream" home, it and our land are paid for. We are both 62. All this to say we are still making changes ( don't know that we will ever get it completely done, never did our site build house and have
enjoyed your post and the changes you have made to your home which have given me even more ideas.
