Chalkboard - A Summer Day Project

Do you like Chalkboards?

I sure do!
That's why I was pretty excited when I got the idea for this one.
(Actually, when this idea came to me, I just smiled and said Thank You)
He always knows what gives me Joy!

Wondering what's it made out of ?
We had gotten a (free) coffee table several months ago and even though we liked it,
we both decided it was just to big for our small space.

Buzz removed the top, then I did my part.

We Love The Way It Looks!

and are thinking of all the fun ways we can use it
(especially during the holidays)
  If it were yours,
what would you write on it?

Time to Party
(Hope you'll come along)

  8. What a great re-purpose. The shape is perfect, evokes French country style. I think I would write "Joie de Vivre", (the joy of living or exultation of spirit). That is the embodiment of your home.

  10. Oh, I absolutely adore this! Racking my brain, trying to figure out where I can "find" one....
I might write, "....asi es la vida", Spanish for, such is the life. Then again, "How do I love thee...let me count the ways...", because, what's not to love about it?

  11. Oh any number of lines from It's a Wonderful Life (for Christmas) ...

"Is he sick? ...No. Worse. He's discouraged."
    OR
"Youth is wasted on the wrong people."
    OR
"Remember George, 'no man is a failure who has friends."

Just a few... I enjoy that movie, can you tell?
