Old And Familiar

There's nothing fancy about
Christmas
at our house,

but it's always familiar.

The same ornaments
we've used
for years,
bring joy in the
simplest
of ways.

They're time worn and loved,
just like we are.

Blessings!

  1. Well said!
I was thinking of you a couple of nights ago when I decorated our Christmas tree and came to those beautiful ornaments you gave me last year in the ornament exchange.
    They really are so beautiful.
    Have a blessed week-end.
    Joy! Debbie

  4. Our tree is very unthemed and looking a little Charlie Brown. Do you enjoy decorating more in your mobile home? I can only imagine how cozy it is and there is the key word - cozy. Please post some pictures of your Christmas coziness. Wishing you a wonderful, blessed time leading up to Christmas.

  5. Most of what I am using this year is from past Christmas's also. I love taking them all out each year and reliving the memories.

  7. I feel the same. I place most of my decorations in the same place year after year. When you find something that works, why fix it?! Your photos are lovely, Geneva. I hope you're enjoying the season!
