Ho! Ho! Ho! - Joy! Joy! Joy!

Buzz and I decided to be a little playful with our decorations this year.

That's why we brought out our Santa's for the first time in about ten years.

It's been fun seeing their faces again ... especially this group
 - Buzz carved them and I painted them.

WAY back in the 90s

Our house isn't TOUR worthy,
But we're enjoying the playfulness this year.

I even like my "homemade" ribbon

made from fabric scraps that look
very Christmassy
 (is that a word?)

At any rate...
I hope you're enjoying
your
Christ'mas Season
as much as we are ours,

and spreading a little
Joy
wherever you go!

Blessings!

Joyeux Noël - Christmas Ornament Exchange

Joyeux Noël
From France

It was an exciting day when Magali's package arrived.
Buzz and I were heading out to run errands and we couldn't wait to see what was inside,
so we opened it right then and there.
(in our car)

Inside was a sweet
Christmas Wish
and a note about each ornament she had packed.

The house on her handmade card is Her
"Little White House"
 Isn't it Lovely!

The first thing she mentioned in her card was this little wooden teddy bear.
She chose it because of it's bright red and green colors.
(because she knew that's what I liked)
":o)

Doesn't it look sweet with my "Baby" Bear!
I sure think so.

Magali said she had a hard time deciding between the
Teddy Bear Ornament and this Fabric Heart
so she got them both.

Lucky Me...Because I Like them Both!

I especially like the way the heart looks with these old ice skates.
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

The apple is a nod to the very first Christmas tree's in France.
Magali said, "Back then, they were decorated with real ones of course!"

I love this
BIG BRIGHT RED
Apple.
It looks so pretty!

Then there was the Candy!

She said it was typically French
but these Texans thoroughly enjoyed it.
(Especially my better half)

Thank you Magali - from Buzz

Last but not Least
Magali made this NOEL cushion for me.
She purposefully left an opening so that
I could tuck greenery inside,
and
that's exactly what I did.

As a nod to Magali
I have it displayed in my
"French"
Inspired Guest Bath.

It couldn't be More
PERFECT

Magali,

A Holiday Home Worth Sharing

Some homes share more Than
Decorations
at
Christmas

Some share their love for God
and
His Peace

This is a Home
that just happens
to do both.

The Peace Starts In
her
Prayer Room

and you feel it all through the house.

The Decorations are Sublime
and she does it all herself.
(she says she's not a decorator, but I don't believe her, do you?)

Here's a sample just for You.

Enjoy!

 Faith
A bird that feels the light
and sings when
dawn is still dark.

A Safe Place
where over the past few months,
twenty-five of us have been transparent;
 sharing laughter, tears,
our hopes and dreams,
and more importantly,
we've learned to listen to God.

Her Home & Her Prayers
Blessed us All

That's her,
sharing
Colossians 3:15-17
with us.
A
Perfect Word of Encouragement.

My Hope Is

that you get to spend
part of your
Christmas
in a
Holiday Home
as lovely as this one
and with
people
as gracious as these.

Or Better Still
that it will be you who's doing the sharing.

Blessings!

Christmas Advent

Welcome December
the busiest time of the year

Even as I'm writing this post,
my mind is swirling
with this months
activities and events.
~
All the busyness is what
inspired me
to  put together
a reminder
of what
the
Christ'mas Season
is all about.

Feel Free to Copy it for Yourself

Blessings!
