Hugs Vs Fast Food

Today
Buzz and I
are thinking about someone far away

(flowers from our garden)
wishing there was some way

to send a "Real" hug his way

But since we can't,
we'll send our thoughts and prayers along with
a few reminders of home.

Of course, he doesn't care about all this Mushy Stuff.

He'd much rather have us send him some Good
Fast Food!

We miss you Buzzling!

Numbers 6:24-26

24 ‘May the Lord bless you
    and protect you.
25 May the Lord smile on you
    and be gracious to you.
26 May the Lord show you his favor
    and give you his peace.’

  1. Such a lovely post Geneva. I'm assuming Buzzling is your son. It must be very difficult to have him so far away. I'm sure you pray....a lot! Hope he comes home soon for a REAL hug and some good old fast food!

  5. Our prayers are with him and all the service men and women who keep us safe. It's hard to let them go. Just as it was hard for all the generations of women before us to let their husbands and sons go off to serve. Right now I have a nephew flying Blackhawk helicopters in Afghanistan. Mimi

  6. Glad you shared this post. Blessings to your son and all your family. I pray for all those serving especially when I put our flag up in the morning but other times too.

We appreciate all the sacrifices the service member and their families make.
