Handmade Holidays ...

Girlfriends deserve a little something extra...that's why I decided to make a little gift for some very special ones that I'll be seeing tomorrow....Just a little something to remember the Christmas of 2012 and perhaps brighten up their tree.

Clear Glass Ball Ornament

Something a little Dainty

I'd like to make one for each of you, but since I can't, I decided to show you how.  Maybe you'd like to make some for your friends too...
  • You'll need clear glass ornaments (found in most craft stores)
You can fill them with whatever you'd like, but this is what I used:
  • White snow flakes
  • Silver beaded garland and floral picks for the bangles (I just cut them apart)
  • White feathers
  • Little silver bells
  • And finally, silver tinsel to tie around the top
Hanging the bell was a little tricky, that's why I showed you how I did it in the collage above... Once I figured it out, it was easy peasy and believe me, that little bell makes all the difference...

Now, all I need to do is add a name tag to each one,
and they're ready for the giving.

"We'll be Friends Forever, won't we, Pooh? asked Piglet.
Even Longer, 'Pooh answered."    ― A.A. MilneWinnie-the-Pooh
