Master Bedroom (Makeover)

The challenge - Taking the "Mobile" out of our New Home

The Master Bedroom / Bath were the last spaces we tackled in our remodel because they were in the worst condition.  We had to really think about what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it.

The before pictures were taken by Buzz before I ever saw the house.  It was really hard for me to see past the dirt and grime, but I'm so thankful I did.
Before

We closed off one of the doors leading into our Master Bath, replaced the entire subfloor, texturized and painted the walls, added base boards, replaced the carpet and light fixture.

AFTER

We still have changes we'd like to make but for now it feels very cozy and comfortable.

In the mean time ... I've retired these boots.

  1. I am so happy to see your blog... I've wondered why there aren't many 'mobile' bloggers. Then I made it like my personal quest to find them.
I don't live in a mobile but have in the past...way before my 'skills' were perfected enough to make them look homey and way before blogging. Later, we had some experience making over 2 mobile homes. I have 4 grown kids, all in their 20's and they are all making their first homes in mobiles... I love the coziness!

Your bedroom looks great. I can't wait to see more of your adventure.
    I'm your newest follower!

So nice to meet you... Pat

    1. Thank You Jenny... I still have those boots, but will admit I've thought about getting rid of them more than once. Remodeling a travel trailer sounds like so much fun!!! Enjoy!
